Anyone App

Anyone App

My Role

As a product designer, I iterating on an existing product per a real-world design brief provided by the Anyone team during my UX/UI bootcamp with Memorisely. All screens are my design.

TL;DR

The Anyone App connects advice seekers who pay to have a short call with experienced advisors in virtually any subject or field, but users find that trusting and paying strangers to advise them is problematic. I researched and designed a new video feature to break down existing social barriers and increase trust between strangers.

Research

I conducted a survey to identify barriers to paying for a call with an advisor and organized the open-ended responses based on response and screener questions. These responses highlighted main user problems and fueled my ideation process. The central problem I identified was a lack of trust between users and advisors.

Designs

To increase trust between users and advisors, I decided to sketch, wireframe, and design a video feature that slips seamlessly into the current user flow and design system. My hypothesis is that the opportunity watch a video of the advisor, pre-call, will help build rapport and break down social barriers.

Testing

To assure my design delivered on user needs and increased business value, I tested my designs with a panel of users via Maze.co. The results indicated that users found the option of a video feature intuitive and helpful in their search for quality, trusted advice .
